ComEd's Hourly Pricing is an electric supply rate program that allows customers to pay for electricity at hourly market prices instead of a fixed rate.

The two most popular options are:

1) Customers receive supply directly from ComEd.

HOURLY PRICING

According to the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC), of the 3,660,332 residential customers receiving supply services in the ComEd territory, 2,807,089 currently receive fixed supply service from ComEd (SOURCE: Electric Switching Statistics (illinois.gov ). An additional 809,737 receive fixed supply from a retail electric supplier (RES).

Less than 1.5% (3,806) of small commercial ComEd customers receive supply at the optimal price.

Currently, the standard price per kWh for ComEd fixed supply is: $0.068 per kWh (6.8 cents per kWh). Most Retail Electricity Suppliers charge price of $0.06 - $0.20 cents per kWh).

Less than 2% (41,270) residential ComEd customers receive supply at the optimal price.

Cost of our services

Divinity Consulting is a 100% success fee based company. There are NO obligations or up-front fees. Our compensation is based solely on the results we deliver. Divinity Consulting shares in 50% of the savings generated from the implementation of our recommendations.

How to start the process

All we need to get started is a copy of recent billing statements for each utility provider, and a 1 page Agreement & Authorization signed.

1. We review your ComEd bill.

2. We provide you with a free energy savings analysis, which projects your total future cost savings on the ComEd hourly price. When you receive your first bill on the ComEd hourly price program, we confirm your price reduction and cost savings by conducting an energy savings analysis. AFTER calculating the price reduction - and your total savings - we will charge your card for an amount equal to 50% of the achieved monthly savings. Divinity Life Coaching & Consulting LLC does NOT represent any utilities or suppliers other than ComEd. Divinity Life Coaching & Consulting LLC does NOT offer ComEd customers supply contracts from alternative retail suppliers. You will remain a ComEd customer; you will simply receive a lower price (under $0.05 per kWh) than the default ($0.068 per kWh). DO NOT trust dishonest energy sales reps. Their price per kWh is higher than the ComEd Smart Price Plan, but they will sell their higher price anyway. Energy sales reps care about their commission checks, not your bottom line. Divinity Consulting helps electricity customers maximize the savings available to them with the utility’s smart price. Divinity Consulting handles all of the relevant paperwork with ComEd, Ameren and FPL. Divinity Consulting does not work with third-party suppliers. All work is performed in house to deliver the highest quality of service our clients deserve.

2) Customers receive supply directly from an Alternative Retail Energy Supply (ARES. Examples: Direct Energy, Constellation Energy, Liberty Power, Viridian.)
